This one is a little bit different with Rick Ware Racing, but I still feel like I can get the job done on a road course. Todd Gilliland: “In general, road courses had been strong for me and the team last year. It’ll bring back a lot of good memories of where it all started out there.” To be able to go out and race in California one last time will, for me, be a lot of fun and an honor. I have a lot of family and friends in that area that will be there that particular weekend. So, it’ll be fun to go there and run the Cup car one last time. For me, I raced there for the first time in 1995. Kevin Harvick: “It’s definitely my favorite road course. While the Cup Series returns to road course racing for the first time since Circuit of The Americas, the Xfinity Series will make a short trek from Oregon having competed at Portland International Raceway last Saturday. You will not find this film even remotely worthwhile.The NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series will share the stage to battle on the tricky twists and turns of Sonoma Raceway this weekend. If not, skip it in favor of Grand Prix or even Days of Thunder. If you are on of those, you might take a chance on this movie. Some film watchers across the globe, like myself, have a mania for locating obscure films. The ending is what one would wish for, but, it takes awhile to get there. Then, too, a bit of risqué sexual scenes pop up now and then. The stars are attractive but they are saddled with an uninspired script. Will the two be able to forget the past and focus on the important race season ahead? This is a rather banal entry into the film repertoire of automobile racing flicks. Tommy is offered a great job where Mike is already installed. These two marry and move far away from Mike, where the bitter split between the men can't touch them. Tommy happens to fall in love with her, also, and she, tiring of Mike's habits, returns his affection. Mike has a lovely, personable girlfriend he is forever neglecting he is the supreme egotist.
Tommy (Billy Campbell) is a mechanic for a hotshot race driver named Mike (Rob Estes).
